Vintage Electronics
A small collection, and why each piece made the cut
TODO: fill in the real story on this piece, and add the rest of the collection — year, condition, what drew you to it.
The collection so far
TODO: list further real items — e.g. a specific radio model, an amplifier, a turntable — with the year, what drew you to it, and what condition it's in.
Selection criteria
What makes something worth keeping, rather than just old:
- Repairability — can it actually be serviced, or is it landfill with nostalgia value
- Story — does it have provenance worth telling, not just an eBay listing
- Build quality — does it demonstrate engineering that's genuinely absent from current equivalents
Notes and teardowns
TODO: link to Stories articles for any pieces you've written up in detail (repairs, restorations, "why this one" essays).
